Good Life Fitness In Your Life Now With These 3 tips!
Time for some good life fitness? Are you tired of feeling drained all the time? Is there so much you want to do but just don't have the energy to do it all?
Then it is! Every journey starts with small steps, and the three that you can start doing right now to live a good life with fitness are:
Sstep 1 - Drink water
Step 2 - Eat in the morning
Step 3 - Sleep well
Let's start with THE most important one.
#1: Drink Water - Lots of it!
When we're thirsty, we're already in dire need of water so make sure you drink enough regularly whether you're thirsty or not!
Sorry to say, but when it comes to staying healthy, nothing beats drinking water (8 cups a day is ideal).
Water cleans out your system of waste, keeps the blood in your body flowing smoothly and more!
So whenever you get a cup of water, instead of just getting a glass and taking it with you, jug that first glass down right there and then and then re-fill it.
Also whenever you are going to drink a caffeine-based drink, be sure to have a glass of water before that drink.
For example, when I go to a coffee shop I always:
- Get an 'Americano'.
- Go to the water stand
- Serve myself two cups of water that I drink right away
Once I'm finished I serve myself a third glass and then I get my coffee.
This makes sure that I am well hydrated, and this keeps my body healthy, helping me enjoy the good life with fitness. You can benefit from following this habit too!
#2: Eat Something in The Morning!
"Have breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper."In other words if you really want to live a good life with fitness, eating breakfast is a must.
You see, when you're sleeping your metabolism is on 'survival' mode to preserve energy (like for bears in hibernation) and so when you wake up, unless you eat something, your metabolism will stay on survival mode!
This is bad because in survival mode, not only will your body preserve calories but it will also consume your muscle tissue instead of fat!
This is because it's a lot easier for your metabolism to take energy from your muscle than it is from fat cells, and when it comes to surviving (or thinking that you're just surviving) it will do whatever it takes.
So for your health, I recommend that you eat anything and get your metabolism up and running. The healthier the food, the better! ;-)
#3: Sleep With Your Health in Mind!
The best time to go to sleep is when you're feeling tired, and that doesn't have to be exactly 8 hours before you need to wake up.
You can also train your body to go to sleep by giving it cues such as:
- Listening to relaxing music
- Playing with a certain thought every night
- Keeping the lights off
The important thing is that you sleep when you feel sleepy, and that you wake up feeling rested.
If you still have a hard time sleeping, try having some turkey and milk.
These healthy foods naturally make you feel sleepy and are healthier than a glass of beer!
All in all, doing the little things, everyday, can make a big difference to your health and help you live a good life with fitness.
