You might even be going backwards! If you're not honestly watching your feedback, you're going to end up frustrated, depressed and worse - you'll give up and say that "personal development doesn't work!"

When we're teaching honesty we never really consider ourselves to be dishonest. Why is that? Because we let ourselves live in a fantasy world where everything is working for us! We can more easily accept this fake world by ignoring our results.
Well, no more of that! I recommend taking a hard look at your results and honestly assessing if what you're doing is working!
Yes, it hurts when harsh reality slaps you in the face. On the other hand, it's better than being frustrated and stressed out all the time! That voice in the back of our heads starts to get annoying, doesn't it?"
Has your body really changed that much? Are you really going to start making money? Does your partner really love you?
Start asking those tough questions and I guarantee that you'll appreciate the importance of honesty and will eventually live a genuinely happier life!
Understand The Importance of Honesty by Getting a 3rd Opinion!
Sometimes it's hard to take a good look at our circumstances. "Why is that? Because we're right in the mess!
Our thoughts, beliefs and emotions blind us to our situation so unless we get a fresh pair of eyes to take a look, we'll always be lost in the dark!
Ideally, I recommend getting a caring mentor or someone who's been down the path you're going through and who is willing to give you tough love! Personally I recommend hiring a coach or consultant. Why? Because they offer you a fresh set of eyes!
They can look at your situation and give you the tough feedback you need to hear so that you can change course and reach your goals!
Note: I recommend checking the coach's credentials (mine too) as anyone can be a coach nowadays. Make sure they have enough experience and are in a position to help you. For the record - I use coaches and mentors regularly as well.
The importance of honesty is so paramount that it would be worth spending money on this 3rd opinion. You can use your friends but remember that they too are blinded by emotion because they don't want to hurt your feelings.
Understand The Importance of Honesty by Dropping The Ego!
Teaching honesty boosts the ego. Being honest with ourselves doesn't! This is tougher for guys to accept but in my opinion real men are willing to drop their "perfect" image for the sake of getting the job done.
I recommend dropping the ego as quickly and as willingly as possible. "Why?" Because you'll be more accepting of being in trouble and more willing to change and do something about it! "That's okay. I don't have an ego!"
Feel good about yourself? Yeah, that's having an ego. I have an ego. You have an ego. Everyone has an ego. I boost my ego by teaching honesty. You boost your ego by pretending that you don't have one.
Let's both just put it aside for a while. ;-) That way we can both adapt to our real situation and fix the problems! Do you really want to live a better life? Then let's value the importance of honesty and put our egos aside!
