The importance of physical fitness depends on how you feel when you get up in the morning.

Are you excited to face the day? Or are you 'sick and tired of being sick and tired'?

Want do something about it? Take care of your health! Get fit! You want a jet-pack that will send you soaring towards your goals? Well, physical fitness is the answer (And you get to look good too!) ;-)

We're Generators! Not Batteries!

You see, human beings aren't batteries. We don't operate better when fully charged. Instead, we're generators. The more energy we create for ourselves, the more we can do!

That's why on one side of the spectrum, you have people doing so many things with their lives (activity building on itself) and on the other side you have people doing nothing at all (the don't generate energy so they don't care to do much.)

The best way to generate the energy you need for your life is by understanding your reason for getting fit in these simple 3 steps.

I recommend doing this as soon as possible:

Step 1 - Go to a mirror with a camera.

Step 2 - Take off your shirt.

Step 3 - Take a picture of yourself.

What do you see? A better question still: Do you like what you see?

Being honest about how you feel about your body is the most important motivation you have to exercise, no matter what the physical fitness program!

In my case, I wasn't happy with my appearance so I did the BodyForLife challenge and finished it.

After taking a picture, I had to evaluate how I felt about my body and once I genuinely wanted something more, I went for the challenge.

So there you have it. If knowing the importance of physical fitness won't make you want do something about it, then take another picture without holding your gut in! ;-)
