I started looking at letting go of my worries rather than dealing with them.

You can do this all in 90 seconds. Let's use this law to unlock all that needless stress!

Step 1 - Write Down Your Worries!

Most of the worries we have are in our heads. We never have to deal with them in real life.

That still doesn't stop them from feeling so real which is why it's a good idea to use the law of detachment.

Get a pen and paper. Sit down for 30 seconds and write down all those worries that have been torturing you.

You'll start feeling good once you begin writing them down.

Write them one at a time and give them a few lines of space in your notebook for the next crucial part!

Step 2 - Ask Yourself This Question!

Here is the simple yet all-relieving question: "What's the worst that could happen?" That's it.

Look at your worries and write out the most painful scenarios you can think of! Now ask that question to all of them.

Done? Okay now here's the tricky part. Look at them and accept them.

I recommend looking at your worries and after reading them, applying the law of detachment by just nodding your head and saying "okay".

Step 3 - How Can You Minimize This?

So you know the worst case scenarios that are plaguing your mind. After writing them down ask yourself: "How can I minimize this?"

Surprisingly your mind will stop worrying and start finding solutions to your worries!

Make sure you write them down and allow yourself to feel more at peace (which is what your mind wants you to feel anyway.)

Did it? Good! Did it in less than 90 seconds? Great! That means that your worries were screaming at you for a while (ouch!)

Final Thoughts On The Law of Detachment?

Now that your mind is at peace you can use the law of detachment. You'll notice that as you feel in control of your problems this law will ironically help you stop them from happening!
